1. go to customize
2. then settings
3. then permissions
4. Then change the setting under blog readers from anyone to only authorized readers
5. Click add readers
6. Put in everyones email address
7. Send invite!
No joke, I think we all have been there with Blogger. Anyways, you go to the customize tab at the top of the page and click on the settings tab. There will be a permissions tab under the settings tab and you click on permissions. From that step it is pretty much walk through, you just have to add all those e-mails you got to go private. Hope all is well and have a wonderful holiday with that new beautiful family of yours.
