All of your mothers that have gone through carseats and had experience with them Travis and I need some help. We can't seem to get past bad reviews of car seats! This peg perego car seat is what I want and then there are a few others that look great too! We bought a jogging stroller that is limited to a few brands of car seats. They are britax, graco, and peg perego. Please mothers I need your input on what to buy. We want comfort as well as something that will last through a couple of kids :). Thanks

A heated heart

The last time I went to my doctor I asked if every woman gets heartburn during pregnancy. He said yes unfortunately every woman gets some sort of heartburn, it just happens. I thought I would be the exception. With no sickness so far I thought I probably wont get it. Lo and behold I was enjoying some potatoes yesterday and it came on so quickly and would not leave. The worst is when I laid down in bed. I felt like I was going to throw up acid. I have never experienced heartburn and I am not ready for more cases to come :( Like the commercial says...TUM TUM TUM TUM TUMS!!!! Cause I need a big ol' package in my medicine cupboard.

Wedding

My sister Marie got married on Friday. Her special day was wonderful! It was a little rainy so they had to move the wedding inside to my parents house instead of having it outside but it looked fabulous! We are so grateful for this wonderful guy to be in our family! We all have our split personalities (I know)... as I asked people who they wanted to win they would say that they love the rocker type more than the "ballad" type that David Archuleta sings. Sure, I love rock music too but everyone has a softer side as well and that is where David Archuleta comes in. There are too many rockers and not enough Archuletas. As you can tell I am saddened by his loss but where is the love people?????? Archie you have a place in my heart and I will purchase your album before I buy any of cooks albums. Sorry dude! But you have rubbed me the wrong way! One more thing... age should not matter when it comes to talent!!

Who is excited for Thursday?

We have a problem on our hands

So we purchased this little guy christmas time of '06. We love it!!!! Travis will drive it in the coldest of cold of winter and get the biggest thrill. He loves it!!! Well last summer I decided to take it to the gym with my sister Julianne on the back. Well in a nutshell a car cut me off and I was not 100% attentive and slammed the brakes and we both flew off. We both flew and tumbled onto the street and I just remember arms and legs flying all over the place. SO SCARY!!!!!! We were not wearing helmets and I can't believe how lucky we are to have only gotten minor damage done. Julianne got the grunt of it and had to be taken to hospital in ambulance. I have never felt so terrible in my life. We both came away with bumps and bruises and julianne with more bruises and stitches and pain then bumps, but things were okay. From then on I have had a love/hate relationship with this here "buddy" scooter. Sometimes I will be laying in bed thinking about the accident and thinking what if something worst had happened. I kind of want to get rid of the thing because they can be so dangerous. Trav calls the scooter HIS scooter now instead of ours :). I never drive it and would love to again but for now Trav can scoot around Provo on that thing and I can just enjoy my air conditioned car and only dream of when I will get back on that thing. Also, my auto record so far while I have been married is: Lindsay:3 Trav:0...... that ought to tell ya maybe I should not be riding for now.

So I know I have posted a lot lately but I really thought this was too funny to pass up. So I googled swimsuits and this is what came up. Can you just imagine if everyone wore these? It was funny because the website was on the first page of google. That means people are either buying these suits or constantly looking at them. Want the blue one or the orange????

On this beautiful mothers day I just wanted to post about why I love my mom. First of all look how beautiful she is. I have always admired her beauty. Her smile is contagious and ecentuates her pretty face. My mom loves to have fun! In Lake Powell dancin to the music or just laughing with sisters she is so fun to be around! She is also such a hard worker balancing motherhood, being a wife, her church callings, and more it seems she does it all! I love her and our family is so lucky to have her as our mother! LOVE YOU MUCHO!!!!! XOXO

Baby Got "Back"!

In the words of Sir-Mix-Alot our "baby's got a back." Can you see his cute little spine. I don't know what he is doing in there but it seems he loves my placenta. In all the pictures that were taken he is snuggled up to it. His skin is not fully thick enough over his body so as of now we call him our little ethiopian. And I promise I am feeding him!!!!!!!!!
