Guess who I get to pick up from Primary Children's Hospital tomorrow??? My baby! I love him so much and it is amazing how lifes tough experiences and trials can make you so strong!!!! Travis and I have learned a lot this week, and have had major testimony builders! Thank you everyone for your prayers and your words of love! We have truly been blessed by them! I am also grateful for a strong husband, that holds the priesthood and who is now the father of our home! I love you! (I will have an explanation post to follow, just too tired to write it all out now)

Thank you so much for the words of wisdom, comfort and love! It is helping me get through this week as I am extremely anxious! There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I can finally see it comin! Love to you all!!!!

Patience is a virtue... a very hard virtue!

The baby ticker needs a few more days give or take, for a baby like mine! He is just campin!!!!! Cervix is still thinning. Dr. took an ultrasound and there is plenty of amniotic fluid and baby looks great! If I don't go before monday the hospital will take me Monday Oct. 27th. I love you baby!!!!

Not quite done-Nursery

Still scramblin to get the nursery done but here is what we have so far. We are renting so we can't paint. I am waiting for some really cute wall decals to come to add some color. We need a lamp and a couple picture frames too! I am pleased with how it turned out!!!!

OH BABY (sigh)

Dear Baby Owen.

I am ready for you now! I don't know how you can be so comfortable in there, but I wanna hold

and cuddle with you. I am blown up, have run out of clothes, think about you ALL day, and find

myself consistently in your room staring at all of your cute blankets and clothes to put you in.

SO... come out and meet your mom and dad! I promise I will take good care of you! Pleeeeease!

Haaaaaalloween is coming!

This weekend Trav & I and my sister and brother-in-law went on a hunt for some nice plump pumpkins. We found the perfect ones to carve. We made it a little party and bought some candy, gathered supplies and turned on the Red Sox game (for the boys) and got to carvin. It was so much fun! It has been a little while since I have done this so it was lots of fun! Here is my finished product: (You may be looking at it like I am such an amazing pumpkin carver, but we actually bought stencils so we took the easy way out :)

We also bought the fake candles to place inside the pumpkins to give them the full effect! They are on our porch. We love them!

...& it was a Happy Birthday!

Have you seen a happier 25 year old guy? I love this picture! I bought the sparkler candles and Trav loved them! :)

Trav's new "birthday suit"!

Tucanos...YUM! Mind you I am 12 days away from my due date! Ready to get babe out! I had to embarrass Trav and had the waiter/waitresses sing Happy Birthday to him with the drum that they bang. They made him stand up and clap along. I just know how much he loved that (he he, not really)

Jack was also very excited for Uncle Trav's birthday! Love these boys!

To finish off the night I went and bought an ice-cream cake from coldstone. It was cookies-n-cream! Very delicicous!!!!! I hope you had a good day honey! I love you mucho! xoxo

Happy birthday to the best husband in the world! #25!!!! In less than two weeks he will be a dad to baby Owen and I am so excited for this chapter in our lives! He is selfless, funny, handsome, smart, grateful, loving, spiritual and caring! I hope you have an awesome day babe!! And remember... ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!

A glowing halloween

I would totally use these ideas if I were planning a halloween party this year. Trav and I planned a big one last year, but with baby coming we aren't gonna be participating. My weekly visits

Since I am 3 weeks away I wanted to let you all know what is going on. What happened today at my doctor appointment was he took my blood pressure=perfect, took a urine sample=perfect, checked weight=on track so I am considered healthy and baby is healthy so as of now when the time is right I should go into labor naturally and normally. I had a few questions for my doctor, one being I am feelng a lot of pressure does that mean anything? He said yes, the baby has dropped so he is ready to go. I then wondered about induction... he told me that if baby and mama are fine they don't like to induce because they usually go into labor naturally. If needs be he will have me go one week over, but wont let me go two weeks over. That is when I would be induced.

I also got an ultrasound and baby is facing where he should be, his feet are kickin my right side and I am sure he is ready to get out and just stretch!!!! My next appt. is next week and then we discuss stripping membranes. I was very glad when he was quite frank with me in saying it hurts pretty bad. I like to know the truth!:)

The weather right now is perfect for feeding the ducks! Happiness takes over when I load the kids in the car, grab a few loaves of bread and we head to riverwoods for some good duck belly fillin. We do this (almost) on a regular basis. Love these kids!

Burritos & Bubblegum Ice cream

2 weeks ago Trav and I went to Salt Lake and had a little date night. We stopped in Sandy and ate the most DIVINE chicken burritos at Chipotle restaurant. It's new and we had heard from the Asay's that they had amazing burritos (That they did!). We then stopped at a nearby baskin robins 31 flavors. There were so many different flavors of ice-cream! I got a delicious reese's peanut butter cup in waffle cone and my husband picked bubblegum. I kept telling Trav that the ice-cream was the cutiest color of pink, and he looked very excited to munch on it! I could not pass up a picture of my man with his bubblegum ice-cream :) YUM! It was a fun night!
